After Round 6 of the Jubilee-Open, twelve players with 5 points took the lead. Alexander Morozevich and Chanda Sandipan delivered some truly phenomenal moves and ideas. When the dust had settled Morozevich managed to win the rook ending – the bystanders’ applause for this high point of the Jubilee-Open was the Grandmaster’s well-deserved reward! Yannick Pelletier, the best Swiss player, joined the leaders, having defeated Harikrishna with the black pieces. Nineteen players with 4.5 points will go after the leaders; Among them: Hou Yifan, who won both games in Wednesday’s double round. In the General Tournament, Juciute Einora continues a splendid performance. With six points, she is in the sole lead of the Accentus (Swiss Chess) Open. In Thursday’s programme, the seventh round begins at 2 pm.
